Market labels are not always identical across sports or bookmakers. The bet slip and official rules determine how a selection is settled.

Singles and accumulators

A single contains one selection. An accumulator combines selections; odds multiply, but one losing leg can defeat the full accumulator unless a specific insurance or system rule applies.

Totals and handicaps

Over/under markets compare a statistic with a line. Asian-style quarter lines may split a stake across adjacent outcomes; confirm whether the operator supports the exact line and how pushes are settled.

Builders and specials

Same-game combinations and player props may have special void rules. Check correlation restrictions, participant availability and settlement criteria before confirming.

Singles, doubles and accumulators

A single contains one selection. A double combines two selections, and a larger accumulator combines more legs. The potential return increases with combined odds, but the chance that every leg wins generally falls. One losing selection can make a standard accumulator lose; a void leg may be removed from the calculation according to the rules.

A system bet creates a set of smaller combinations from the chosen selections. It can return something when not every selection wins, but it also uses more combinations and can require a larger total stake. Check the slip’s total stake, not only the stake shown per line.

Handicap, totals and special selections

A handicap adjusts the score or statistic for settlement. European handicaps commonly have three outcomes; Asian lines can split a stake over adjacent whole or half lines, producing partial wins, losses or pushes. Totals compare a score or statistic with a line, and exact-value outcomes depend on whether the line is whole or half.

Player props, same-game combinations and special markets can have separate rules for non-starters, substitutions and abandoned events. Use the market’s own terms rather than generalizing from a match-result bet.

Check the slip math before placing a combined bet

For an accumulator, the displayed potential return depends on the combined price and accepted stake. Confirm whether the stake shown is the total amount or an amount per combination. For system bets, the number of combinations can make the total stake larger than expected, so inspect the final amount before confirming.

A selection can be void while the remaining legs continue under revised odds. The exact adjustment depends on the applicable market rules. Save the bet ID and review the settled calculation if the final amount differs from the initial estimate.
